The Magnum Sidewinder is a new addition to the range, upping the ante all the way along.  A new MultiCam Camouflage with the Ion Mask protection that guarantees no water ingress and a whole new level of support.
 
Superfabric brand technology is an advanced, multi-step engineered process that takes ordinary fabrics and transforms them into a variety of unique, protective solutions, known collectively as Superfabric Brand Materials. These new protective fabrics can be engineered for optimum resistance to cuts, punctures and abrasions while remaining highly flexible. Optional properties such as flame resistance, specialised grip and more, make for a compete customised solution.


Magnum built these boots with one goal: to enhance the survivability of the world's most elite operators. They used the hardest durometer of Vibram® soles to prevent tears or cuts from rugged, mountainous terrain.  The boot is designed to carry 80kg (175 lbs) of kit (on top of the operator's body weight) for at least a year of heavy use in a combat environment.

Every detail was scrutinized.  They field-tested these boots with Special Forces around the globe and for over 14 months in Afghanistan.  A locking cleat keeps laces snugly in place.  Eyelets won't glint or shine when scratched.  They used ion-mask™ technology to keep the boots resistant to water, bloodborne pathogens, and other chemicals—all while keeping the boots breathable and lightweight.Magnum uses the highest density OrthoLite® for the best quality and a healthier environment inside the boot.  The low compression set of this formulation guarantees consistent comfort and integrity throughout the life of the product.

OrthoLite® footbeds utilize a special foam material formula.  It has proven to retain 95% of its cushioning after the first year, opposed to the 30% some other sockliners.  The open cell foam is also lightweight, breathable, allows excess moisture and heat to escape, and is treated with a biocide that inhibits odor-causing microbes.
